We have now heard from Almansa, who have invited us, to visit them, to join in their May |
|
Fiesta. |
|
The start date of the Fiesta is Wed. 30th April and the main processions are normally held |
|
over three days. |
|
|
|
The suggestion is to fly to Alicante on Tuesday 29th April and return Saturday 3rd May. |
|
|
|
Individual choice of stay duration, as usual, is not a problem, so long as we know and can |
|
Advise our hosts. |
|
|
|
This then accommodates those who wish to extend their stay. If you extend your |
|
stay you will be responsible for booking or arranging your accommodation, as this will not |
|
normally be with host families. There are hotels in Almansa, and the Hotel Los Rosales is well |
|

Estimated Cost: I have researched the air fare cost for example purposes, and the following is |
|
currently available:- |

FlyB from Southampton to Alicante 29/04/08 at 10.40 am – return 03/05/08 leave Alicante |

Booking direct with FlyB, the fare cost is £120.11 per person, including taxes and airport |

charges. This is at the time of printing and can change as you get closer to the departure date |
|
– so book early. |

It is possible for us to make group bookings if the party is 9 or more, but for some strange reason, individual cost then increases by approximately £15 per person. For this reason, as previously with our trip to Mosbach, we have decided not to opt for this, and ask travellers to make their own bookings. |

Please ensure you book the 10.40 am flight as our hosts will collect us from Alicante and will |
|
only make one trip for this. |
